Central location and reasonable price

The location is amazing! Right by the gondola and the bus station. And also right next to all the restaurants and bars (without being too noisy). All the staff are really welcoming and friendly.

Great Location for ski lift and ski hire shops. Town center for all other things that matter. On site restaurant is very good. It is worth noting that it is very popular with non residents.

The location is very good: close to both the ski line and the center. Their restaurant is very good: both breakfast and dinner. The room is comfortable, and they also have a small but nice spa and sauna. For the past 5 years, I came to Zell am See for skiing in every winter, and for the most time I chose this hotel. I think this is reasonable for me. Unfortunately, I will leave Europe this summer, and with high probability I will not able to be here again in the next winter. But I do appreciate about the enjoyable memory from this city and this hotel.

Excellent staff and facilities in a superb location

We had a very positive experience at Hotel Steinerwirt1493. The location is excellent — everything is close and very convenient. The hotel fully met our expectations. The rooftop jacuzzi on the patio is a great feature and was a real highlight of our stay. The staff is friendly, supportive, and always ready to help. We had an early departure at 5 a.m., and they kindly prepared breakfast to go for us — a very thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Overall, everything was great, and we were fully satisfied with our stay. The only small detail is that the room was a bit too warm at night, but it is a minor issue. Highly recommended.

It is perfect for a 3-star hotel. The breakfast was really good, and the staff was friendly and eager to help. The room cleaning was also good. There is free parking available about 200 meters from the hotel. The location is excellent, it’s very close to the CityXpress gondola, and with roughly 100 meters of walking, you can reach the ski station. Overall, it is definitely worth the money I paid.

Staff were great, especially the extremely smiley and helpful Elisabeth. Location was right on the centre yet quiet and a walking distance to the City express lift. Roof terrace jacuzzi and sauna was great as well. And the restaurant is decent.

Property was in a good location, 5 mins walk to the lake, two mins to the bus station.

Location is very central few steps from bus station and from train station. They offer summer card which is a great value. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The room despite small but very clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is very good . The jacuzzi in the top floor among the nature is fantastic experience.

We stayed for one week in Zell am See and had an amazing experience at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the breakfast – freshly made eggs prepared to your liking, great coffee, plenty of fresh fruit, and a wide variety to choose from every morning. The wellness area with a free sauna and whirlpool was a great bonus after a day out exploring. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile – it made us feel right at home. The location was also perfect – just a short walk to the lake, which made it easy to enjoy beautiful views and nature.

The staff was really kind and attentive. The food at the restaurant was also very nice and we all (adults and children) enjoyed it very much. The sauna and jacuzzi on the rooftop was an enjoyable luxury after walking in the mountains during the day and arriving tired. I very much recommend the hotel ❤️

Helpful staff, convenient location

Very friendly staff - the receptionist was helpful, giving out a lot of information. The room was a good size - we had a room with 4 beds. There were 2 rooms actually, separated by a sliding door. The room was also clean. The breakfast was good. There were not that many choices, but they were fresh. You had ham and cheese, joghurt and jam. They also prepare scrambled eggs, fried eggs, soft oder hard boiled eggs. You have to ask for this, but there is a sign at the table informing you of the matter. The position of the hotel is good - on the main street, but also in the vecinity of the old town. You can also walk to the lake, it takes just 5 minutes.

Very centrally located (right in front of the cathedral and within walking distance to the bus to access the cable cars), has a free parking lot and the hotel also provides with the Summer card which gives you access to lots of activities in Zell

Good and clean room, and spacious too. Very good staffs, knowledgeable and helpful. Hotel comes with a sauna and jacuzzi. Very near to the train station and bus terminal, city center and a mini mart.

Hotel was right in the centre of Zell. I was there for a Vespa rally and there were good parking facilities. This is a family hotel with very Friendly staff. Breakfast excellent. Tea making facilities were in the room.

The location is Perfect. Also Room was Perfect. If it gets colder in night, Standing heating is there. Also Sauna and small area for reading Books. Breakfast is also included. Must try.

Prices are very fair. Location is excellent located right in the middle of Zell am See. Staff is always very friendly and polite. The breakfast is quite good, especially since it’s included in the price. Their restaurant is also very reasonably priced and the food is generally very good.

The hotel is very well situated in the middle of the city. The room was spacious - and the interior decoration is very tasteful. The breakfast is fantastic - great selection of fruits and vegetables, besides the usual selection of cereals and bread.

The hotel is in the middle of the town, so everything is walkable from there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

I had a nice two nights stay and I was pleasantly surprised by my room. It suited my needs perfectly and the staff were all great. Kind and helpful with every question I had during my stay. The breakfast was super and I also had dinner in the restaurant one might and it was also super. The staff, the food, the price. If I return to Zell am See I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Hotel Steinwirt for two nights. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff at the hotel were polite, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Sehr schöne Lage im Zentrum und und nur ein paar Gassen weiter zum See bzw in die Fußgängerzone zu den Geschäften und Restaurants bzw. Bars. Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Wir hatten noch nie ein so großes Zimmer.

Das Bett

Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Es gibt ein kleines Buffet und auf Wunsch bekommt man auch Rührei, Spiegelei oder ein gekochtes Ei. Dies bezieht sich auch auf die verschiedenen Kaffeevariationen. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer hat eine Schiebetür, die die Räume voneinander trennt. Im oberen Stockwerk gibt es auch einen Außenwhirlpool und eine Sauna zur Mitbenutzung. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und hat sogar ein paar nahegelegene kostenlose Parkplätze (nach Verfügbarkeit).

Absolut zu empfehlen das Hotel. Schöne Zimmer, kostenloser Parkplatz, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Frühstück hätte halbe Stunde früher sein sollen, da an dem Wochenende ein Wettbewerb war u Großteil der Teilnehmer im Hotel genächtigt haben.. somit gab es nur Lunchpaket 😔

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück reichhaltig und gut.

Die Rezeptionistin war sehr bemüht, unsere Anliegen zur Zufriedenheit zu bringen. Sehr freundlich suchte sie sofort Lösungen. Die Nachtruhe war stark gestört durch den Straßenverkehr. Leider war auch das Restaurant am Montag geschlossen.
